Been plugging my way through the recommended readings in the Harvard Classics. Yesterday's fifteen minutes was a bit o' Voltaire. The man, it seems, was a blogger.
Tongue-in-cheek sarcastic humor? Check.
Disdain for some or all establishments and authorities? Check.
Penchant for short rants? Check.
Ah, but does ol' Francois-Marie use the following hip phrasing liberally:

ReplyDeleteThe original, full-length story has it correct, but some (AP, I'm guessing) idiot changed it from "Merrimack officials" to "Nashua officials" in the abbreviated version.
The worst part: both WMUR (channel 9) and Dover's newspaper have it wrong. Ok, I'm done.
